WELCOME BACK SHAZ
Taken from Worthing FC website
Sadough to leave Rebels Thursday, 21 February 2008 Out of form striker heads back to Hillians
Worthing forward Shaheen Sadough has left Worthing to rejoin Burgess Hill after failing to score in 13 games for the Rebels. Sadough who was an unused substitute during Tuesday night's victory over Walton & Hersham played his last game for the Rebels at Whitstable when he probably missed his best chance to open his account. We wish him well

I think this is good news. Harps wasn't playing to his normal standard when Shaz left, but now he's got something like his old form back this could work well. Views ?

The problem for me is that Harper doesn't have any opposition for his position. He is captain and scores loads of goals (as well as being our only striker), so arguably he should be picked for every game anyway. But I think with an alternative option it gives us a chance to change things about when they aren't working. I think Saddough and Harper are quite similar players, and therefore fairly incompatible when played up front together. But I also think Saddough should be given the role that Harper is currently fulfilling (latching on to the long ball and moving forward with it) and that Harper's role should change when they are both on the team sheet. Again, an easy bit of arm chair opinion fro me. Jamie has his job because he knows what he is doing, so I am sure he will have his own agenda for these 2 strikers.

Oh, and I additionally meant to add, welcome back to Saddough. He has always been a BHTFC hero of mine, and I have always stuck by him. I am glad he is back at the Hill. A great player that needs to be given the chance to show what he can do. Don't get it wrong this time BHTFC!
And don't start criticising him if he doesn't score a hatrick in his first game!

A few nasty comments on the Worthing forum about him but personally i don't care if he doesn't score many. Harper is doing the business at the moment and Sadough could be used to hold the ball up in the middle and feeding Harper who is at his best playing wide left. This might stop the ball being pumped back into our half so often. I'm sure Mr Sadough (snr) will be happy to come back to the hill.

I've always liked Shaheen as a player (and a person) from the day he first played for us.A guy with an eye for goal and in his second term with us a much tougher player. Like so many strikers and Shaheen is no different they love to score goals so Jamie and the coaches have to find the best way of Shaheen fullfilling his tremendous potential. In my opinion there is absolutely no reason why Harps and SS cannot forge a first class partnership up front and start to worry a few defences. It just needs some good coaching and a little bit of patience from the players and of course the fans. As Sponge said there are a number of options to use both of these players in whatever role Jamie thinks best at the time. Again I agree with Sponge, Mr Sadough senior is welcome back as well,an Officer and a Gentleman. Good luck Shaheen and may it be third time lucky for yourself and The Hillians.

No player needs comments like that from their club, what does it solve? I hope it hasn't shot his confidence.
Also, no point caring what Worthing fans think about anything really.

Hey guys just want to say thanks for the comments and I'm glad to be back. I've missed the club - the supporters, the players etc and hope to get some confidence back asap and repay the fans for leaving in the first place.
I made the wrong decision leaving, but a decision I felt at the time I had to make and I'm just looking to hopefully settle down now and be part of a bright future with the Hillians. In Jamie Howell I honestly believe we have a brilliant manager who can take this club places with the support. I won't be able to post again as I am now officially a player but just wanted to say a few words.
See whoever is travelling up for tomorrows game at Kingstonians!!
P.S Me and Harps can play together, I'm sure of that, sometimes partnerships just need a bit of time to gel and I thought before I left we actually began to do better!! All good players can play together.... right...?

No I agree. I just think the way you and Harper were played together before, in terms of roles, wasn't quite right, but I am sure Jamie will sort that out.

Glad to see you back Shaz.
I hope that you get the chance to play as a striker alongside Harps, the pair of you getting free reign and given time to develop a partnership would be great.
Jamie let them play.
