This was a really great game today all (and this time I do mean all) players had really solid games.
In the previous 2 meetings Molesey have appeared to have a reasonable attitude being competitive but fair. Today from the kick off they were dirty, taking every opportunity to have a dig, to make things worse their captain would run forward spitting obscenties from between clenched teeth he tried to get into our players face and stir up trouble in a spitful way.
With us at 2-0 at halftime it looked like the game would end in mass bookings and probably another punchup, last week they had a 20 man brawl against Kingstonian. But both teams came out for the second half and played football, they caught us cold a couple of minutes in, a good goal that came from some pressure through the middle.
It was pretty physical, but fair, for most of this half and the game was over with our third goal.
The new goalie made three really important saves and looked useful, talking to the defence and coming out when necessary, good kick too.
We could have had more goals with good work to get the ball forward and anyone prepared to have a go. Just what the fans have wanted.
What more could we want tight at the back, strong and inventive in mid-field, lively and adventurous in attack.
I've not named anyone this week because this was a great team effort.

Sounds good, and very encouraging. Slowly but surely catching up the teams above us. Well done Hillians, keep it up.

5 teams above us all lost, and three below us all won.
Now 18th out of 23 on goal difference and we have a game in hand on Banstead.

Damn good game. New keeper made a couple of startling saves - one near the start of the game and one in second half, must have been late-sighted both times, but dived very sharply when I for one thought the ball was goalbound. Good performances all round. Agree comments re Molesey - ref actually did his nbest to keep his cards in his pocket, with several talkings-to, especially in the first half. Anyway, 3 points, who cares !

The Hillians deserved to win but take your Rose tinted glasses of folks ...Your number 7 should have been sent off and number 2's play acting could have won an Oscar but hey you won the game and your new goalie was superb !! Good luck for the rest of the season and I look forward to our games against you next season !

Best game i've seen for ages. We look threatening going forward and we have a much more organised midfield. Good team spirit as well. If only we could make these loan signings permanent. Well done Gary for turning it around.

I agree, well done Gaz, great turn around, it appears that Gaz, Pete and Jim (Called dinosaurs by the departed manager-honestly what was he on !) are clearly having more success than Mr SJ, keep the faith and great to hear. Good also to hear off pitch stability coming back and good luck with the lights app.
Good people deserve good results
