How disappointing. Plenty of possession, but no idea what to do with it going forward. Attack looked non-existent, didn't really look like scoring to be honest. Probably unlucky to ship four goals (especially Tom E who was up to his usual high standard) but a fair result unfortunately.........

This was the worst I've seen the hill play since Johnson's debacle at Whyteleaf last season.
At the start there appeared to be no drive to get forward.
I'm glad that Joyce is getting a run up front let's hope he gets a good few weeks to show what he can do with some good service.
Very disappointed.

The tactics were bizarre. Midfielders playing full back, defenders playing up front, full backs on the bench. I appreciate we have injuries but I can't see how that was the best solution to the problem. Very little reaction from the bench after any of the goals, no changes in the obviously lacking tactics, nothing. A few of the players tried very hard, Tom Edmonds the only one really producing the goods, but I don't really blame the players for this one. The scoreline did flatter YMCA. They were definately better than us, but it only should've been 1 or 2 nil to them. It was a shame that we conceded a scrappy goal and then gave away a bit of a questionable penalty. There was no way back into it after that and we really conceded the other 2 goals after the players had resigned to the defeat. No disrespect to Horsham YMCA though, they were a good side and I hope they do well. Their fans were pretty sporting despite those of us sitting nearby not being quite so sporting! Good luck YMCA, you will do well all the time you have a manager that shouts tactics from the sidelines and reacts well to tactical weaknesses.
