Not the highest standard of football exhibitted on Saturday, but not TOO bad. At least the yellows looked as though they wanted to win. I think 1-1 was a pretty fair representation of the play, although Met Police were slightly the better side. Their goal was an absolute scorcher catching Andre well off his line.
Met Police weren't as thuggish as normal and I don't remember any cards being shown.
I noticed that the hardcore fans were back. I only hope this performance didn't put them off. They played ok, but not as well as in the games we were talking about on the message board!
Man of the match for me was Adam Pullin, who created so much during the game. As usual a very soild performance from Piper as well. Bit baffled by the substitution. We lacked height and strength up front but had pace, and unfortunately both of the pacey forwards were replaced by tall strong players. I think it would've worked better if 1 fast player had come off for one tall player. Personally would've swapped Joe Bye (in midfield) with Sean Grice. But what do I know?!

RWE, your view on substitution is correct. Grice in mid-field with Bye off would have made space for LLoyd SKinner out wide where he has space to run and create.
Poor old Joe has such a good game at Molesey he had drained his tank. Its funny that I with my limitted knowledge of football can see that met were going down that side because Joe was struggling to get back and had it not been for Matt Piper covering we could have been looking at a loss.
