Not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but "Nomad" is putting together what looks like it will be an excellent book with loads of pics from clubs all around Sussex this season. They need 300 pre-orders with a deposit of £10 to ensure the book gets published. I'm sure you all know the Nomad forum but here is the link for the book plans with some excellent sample pics. www.ccpub.co.uk/Books/Sussex%20Soccer%20order%20form.pdf

Hi As one of the authors I can confirm that the book is looking really good (incidentally pics from Hillians' home games vs Eastbourne Town and vs Horsham YMCA are featured). It's been a long season but we are pleased to have captured what we feel is the essence of football across Sussex and told the story of the season. With this in mind I am making a special trip to Leylands Park on Saturday for what could be - and I hope I'm wrong - the last match. In particular I would like a photograph with as many fans in as possible, wearing Burgess Hill or other team colours. I will be aiming to get there in plenty of time for KO as I also have to get to Lewes to see them pick up the Blue Square South trophy later. The link to order the book is above, and you can also view an image of the cover at www.nomad-forum.co.uk/forum/images/book-ad.gifThanks to all those Hillians fans who have already placed an order.

Got my copy of the book this week. For anyone not totally blinkered in their footy its a great record of Sussex footy. On the back cover is the (now becoming famous) picture of the "balloons in the trees" - neatly rounding off the season for me. Good picture of Harps in action as well. www.ccpub.co.uk/Books/Books%20&%20Publications.html

Got my copy as well. I agree with everything that Waspexile says, the photo's are high quality and cover a wide range of topic's. My only minor gripe is that in the text I got the vague impression that we (BHTFC) were a bit of an afterthought. It seemed to me that Eastbourne Town, YM and Worthing were far better served. However that maybe my yellow and black spectacles again and you can't please all the people etc. It certainly shouldn't put anyone who is interested in non league football in the county off from buying this book.
