news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8848630.stmThis article interested me. Some interesting facts about the premier league clubs who constantly change their shirts to encourage supporters to fork out for the latest design. I know the majority of people on this forum would rather poke needles in their eyes than monitor the day to day monotony of the Premier League, but I thought it might still generate some opinions. As a Palace fan I am not sure what the Premier League is, but I tend to wait until a new shirt is released and then once every 5 years or so pick up the shirt from the previous season for a bargain price. If I did ever go up to Selhurst I don't imagine the 20,000 supporters....oops, I mean 9,000 supporters...will all start chanting "who is that prat in last year's shirt", so it doesn't bother me. Of course these replica shirts are made of spider webs and stitched together by blind monkeys and tend to last about half a season anyway. Are any of you ashamed to be wearing the 1998 BHTFC shirt? Personally I feel quite proud to wear the old ones, shows I am not just a Burgess Hill Town glory hunter!!!!
