Good morning and welcome to MATCH DAY. It's a great day for BHTFC as we enjoy a joyous return to our home, The More Than Tyers stadium after a long absence. 3rd dec 2022. Today we host our friends from Lancing (Sussex Fa Hq) in the Isthmian South East. 3pm kick off.
Lancing are one place above the Hillains in 12th having played two games extra. They have been pretty good of late picking up some fine wins. They beat Ashford and Littlehampton over Xmas and beat Sevenoaks last Saturday. But there was a recent loss against the heath. Lancing will travel today in confident mood and will be looking for a massive and mid table cementing three points.
We are still trying to get 2023 off the ground. After an encouraging clean sheet at Bridges nil nil we have since conceeded 7 goals in two disappointing away losses.
You feel this one is pretty important as a loss today pretty much sees off the final embers of any play off ambitions we may still have. Indeed a loss will see us drop down the table even further. Those relegation play offs will start to come into focus.
But let's hope the joy and excitement of being back at home can inspire the whole club towards a massive three points and the start of something quite magical.
Let's Go !

Four one on 55 mins to a draw!
It was a case of not being able to hang onto a lead yet again for Jay and his squad.
For the 4th game in 5 Hill have managed to secure a lead only for things to unravel. We looked solid and robust when George Brown powered the 4th goal. But Lancing stormed back to score three quick goals against some awful defending. Mistakes miss tackles and less than wonderful keeping lead to two massive points dropped.
That's 11 goals conceded in three games and 1 point from nine.
We are sinking fast
