Good morning Alliance.
Welcome to MATCH DAY and a new dawn in our history. Of late it's been quite the roller coaster!!
We travel to the Kent coast and Hythe Town fc for a 7.45 ko in Isthmian South East. Its a ground that we all know very well with those dodgy stairs up to the club house. U have been warned !
Tonight we catch a glimps of our New Manager Matt as he takes the helm. And he will need a response from the players after a very disappointing result on Saturday. In fact, looking at our league position we needs points and quickly.
I can't believe I am saying this but Hythe could march into the play offs spots with a win tonight. After looking distinctly mid table for most of the season they have taken off since 28th Jan winning no less than 6 matches. So needless to say they must be playing some great stuff right now and confidence will be sky high. Plus they will be getting the rub of the green if u know what I mean. Expect a chunk of luck coming their way and perhaps none for us.
The weather should be quite pleasant with 6 degrees dry and no wind what so ever. Perfect for mid week football. But layer up if your coming.
A hardy few of us are going tonight (perhaps getting there bang on ko). Follow on the platforms for updates and clips. And hopefully a quick word with the new boss.
Let's Go People.

Hythe 1 Bhtfc 0
It wasn't a disaster by any means and we played some good football at times especially in the 2nd half.
But a goal on 5 mins was enough to keep three important points in Kent. Their charge up the table and play off tilt still on track.
As for us every loss is hammering nails into what's becoming a relegation battle.
Sombre mood on the way home.
WE NEED A WIN AND QUICKLY
