Ok many games are called off from all angles of football. However, i would like to know , how come that every time i telephone the club when a games in doubt ,i get an answering service. Ok the game against Walton was called off... however us fans got a better service and information when games were called off when we were in the county league. Come on Hill get your act together ...........thank you . Oh and by the way, i dont want no lame excuses why people were not informed before fans players or officals . People /fans have the right to know that the game is on or off .......... not a answer phone where you can leave a message , just a human voice on the answer phone would have done. WE all work and find it difficult at times to access the internet and have a need to know ty .

If Walton's website can show the game as postponed at 2.30ish WHY couldn't someone have put a message on the answering machine at the club or put something on our website!  |

Now thats really pissed me off. having been @ work all day .............. yes all day, and trying to telephone the club from 4pm onwards and getting no reply, that really sucks.And having to hear the game was called off @ that time......well what can i say .......... no disrespect but in the County League days we got better information then what we are getting now regarding games on/ off .

I'd like to add my annoyance (to maintain my reputation as a right moaner!). I don't even live in Burgess Hill any more, I live in Haywards Heath, so I had wasted about 2 hours of my evening discovering there was no footie! And it was bloody freezing walking down there to find the ground closed!

So at 13.16, Walton knew the game was off. It wouldnt have been hard work for someone @ the club to put something on the answer phone (like the old days), but alas that seemed liked to much work for someone to do.

Understand the frustration and can only agree, charged back from upt' north previously to get to an empty stadium.
I'm glad it was called off as I was sipping beer in Malta so can now see the game.
