Cup Finals at Leylands Park

Whilst browsing the Mid Sussex League site we host some cup finals this month:

Wed 12th April AFC Ringmer v Newick II K.O 6.45pm (Somerville Challenge Cup)

Wed 19th April Horsted Keynes v Hartfield K.O 6.45pm (Edgar German Challenge Cup)

Wed 26th April Wisdom Sports v Ifield Edwards K.O 6.45pm (Mid Sussex Senior Cup Final)



Now I understand why we are playing a home game next Tuesday

I hope someone reminds these visitors to turn the floodlights out as they leave the pitch.

Let's hope none of the games go into extra time or penalties. I'm not sure why we host these cup finals when the money we make from them can't be as high as the potential fines we will get if a game over runs for any reason. Maybe it is, and this is all a good business move.

Thats probably why they are 6.45 kick offs so we dont go over the time limitation
