What an utter joke today's match officials were. Certainly contenders for the worst set of officials I have ever seen at a football match.
In a league not a million miles from the professional leagues, we should reasonably be able to expect referees who are able to referee a football match with only a slight error rate. No referee in the world is going to get every decision right, but to have got so many wrong as today's referee did was a joke.
I'm not suggesting the performance of the officials would necessarily have made the difference to the result, considering we lost by 3 goals. However, there may be times when clubs get stitched up by refs like this guy and take relegation as a consequence, and that costs clubs money.
I did spot my old next door neighbour down there, who is an ex-ref and occassionally is asked to assess referees from the non-leagues. I sincerely hope he was reporting on today's ref because he isn't fit to referee ever again. Nor were either assistants.
It comes as no surprise to me that none of the officials were named on the program. I would want to remain annonymous as well if I was that inept at my job.
Hope this rant wasn't too over the top, apologies to anyone who hates long moany threads!

Don't like moany threads, but can only agree in this case. The ref was truly awful and his assistants inept. I know it is a diffficult job and there is no way I would do it and put up with the unnecessary abuse they get sometimes but there was just too much they got wrong today. Some (but by no means all) of the worst :
-two footed lunge right in front the dugout, ref 5 yards away, lino directly opposite. Neither apparently saw it -Pullen "fouls" (it wasn't a foul), player ends up on floor, ref (who could not possibly have seen the challenge) speaks to Jarvis, lino (who must have saw it, was right in front of him) says nothing -Cray no 10, already booked, kicks ball away when Hill have a free kick. Ref sees it but doesn't book him again (just "has a word") -Their penalty came from a dive - the culprit even celebrated this with someone in the crowd (it looked premeditated to me) -One of their players kicked out right on touchline. Lino sees it but says nothing, ref speaks to our player and theirs
Still, result was probably fair. They looked far more dangerous than us going forward, we seemed to want to walk the ball in to the net all the time although we did play some nice stuff from time to time
