Today we saw the makings of a good team, defence looked solid, midfield was battling and looking to go forward, solo forward did not have the best of service but still managed a couple of shots.
There was movement off the ball and the whole team was trying to play football which on the rock solid dust bowl called the pitch was not always easy.
After a long period of trying to play long balls to the isolated striker I think the penny dropped and we played some quick short balls which gave us a chance to get into there defence.
Still some work to do, but looking better than last year at this time which is a boost considering the league looks a lot harder this season.
