Hi All, I will first start by saying that I hope I have posted this in the correct section, if not please forgive me. We have just been promoted to Rymans league football next season and will be facing The Hillians next season, I do hope that you will come along and register on the Eastbourne Town Fans Forum by clicking here and enjoy some banter. I will be putting all the links to the Ryman League forums on the site soon, much as you have here. Let's hope for 2 great games involving both sides next season, and from a biased point of view 2 Town victories. Regards Andy ETFC Fans Forum Admin

If the last 2 seasons are anything to go by, you can at least be sure that you will see some goals at Leylands Park, although no-one can ever be sure wether it'll be at the home, away or both ends!
Hillians fans are looking for some progress and quality football to watch next year. After dominating the county league for a long time, life at the next level hasnt been easy, although there have been some cracking games.
Next season should be good as you've come up and Worthing have come down, so its trips to Horsham, Worthing and Eastbourne. I'm sure you are aware of the likely good grounds and games but there are plenty of odd ones in London, Met Police for instance.
The Burgess Hill barmy army is pretty much "demobilised" now so those of us not used to making so much noise are learning how to fill the gap!
Looking forward to the game already. David

Some of the barmy army may be back next season but it will need a big improvement on the pitch to get them back to full voice ! Our first season out of the county league was very succesful, still being in with a chance of the play offs up to the final game of the season at Stamford. Unfortunately the cost of travelling in the Southern league took its toll and we've never really been the same since. The Saffrons is looking excellant with many improvements since our last visit. Do you now have your own clubhouse or is it still that dreadful hockey club bar on the far side ? Looking forward to our meeting next season - just hoping i'm not working.

Hi guys. Going to be 2 great games between us lot next year. A couple of us used to follow Lagney before they changed the name without any fan consultation so we jumped ship 4 or 5 years ago.So have been to yours on many occasion, who could forget the night Langney came to yours and won both the game and the County league Still those days are gone and now we follow the Town, be sure to expect some noise

Welcome to our chaotic league! Surely no more chaotic than the County League though. The last time I was at Burgess Hill was when I was about 12 years old to watch Hailsham Town with my dad. We turned up early and was having a kick about on a patch of land just outside the actual ground. Will be weird for me next season as although it has changed it will be the first time for me there following my dads passing so some quiet thinking and all that before the game starts. Let's hope for 2 fantastic games filled with enough good football to keep all the fans entertained for 180 minutes and two Eastbourne town wins. Andy
