Horsham YMCA will be playing Ryman League football next season.
The reigning County League champions - who are on course for back-to-back titles after going top of the table on Saturday - have passed the FA's stringent ground grading inspection.
The £21,500 to complete the necessary improvement work at Gorings Mead was paid by sponsor Victor Gladwish, who has been offered a place on the club's management committee.
YM now have new changing rooms, a refurbished stand with 200 seats, a completely enclosed ground, improved spectator facilities on the far side of the ground and two new turnstiles.
The total cost of the project was £200,000 of which £155,000 came in grant aid from the Football Foundation and the YMCA itself.
Work was only completed an hour before last Friday's inspection.
Chairman Mick Browning said: "The whole club has rallied round in the last month and it's a fantastic achievement.
"We have got an E grading and will be playing in the Ryman League next season which is great for the club, the town and Sussex football."
